The Kola branch of Petrozavodsk State University provides higher education in 56 educational programs of Bachelor, Master and Doctor degrees within 6 faculties. These are the Faculties of Humanities, of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, of Economics, of Physics and Energy Engineering, of Mining, and of Environment. 

The Kola branch of PetrSU closely cooperates with the Kola Science Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences influencing the integration of higher education and modern Russian science.Besides, the Kola branch of PetrSU offers supplementary education in plenty of training courses within 2 educational centers.
